WIP binoculars

This is my work in progress shot of Melissa with Binoculars. She is standing in front of a torn mural of a stormy sea and a battered ship in the distance. My influences here were the old Pirate ride from CedarPoint amusement park and the dark shadows move. I really loved the mood and colors in that!

Exploring texture

Here is a sample of a recent painting, experimenting with various texture. It is titled, "The Drowsy Hour" from a Keats poem. I purchased the frame from a local Antiques dealer. Which inspired the Theme of the painting.
