These are some of the portraits I've been painting at McGeady's Town Pub in Monroe Michigan, as part of the River Raisin Jazz Festival Series! They have been lots of fun and a great learning tool in my day to day practice. I have roughly 3 1/2 hours to complete one with breaks for my Models. It has been great to see the turnout for these events. The company is great, the Music is great (Live Bands), and the weather isn't too hot! We're having a very mild Summer here, thus far. There has been a different band every event day. There are three Pubs and the Town Bandstand in the Downtown Monroe area that participate in the River Raisin Jazz Series. People enjoy walking throughout town, watching Artists painting and enjoying the music. You can see more here:
