Live Portrait Painting Demonstartions

There will be six painting demonstrations that I will be doing beginning in May 29 and ending on August 7, 2014 in Monroe Michigan.

Here are a couple of paintings that I'm working on right now, both are in the underpainting stage.

I have been practicing the 'indirect painting' technique. Here are two of the phases shown here depicting the underpainting and the direct paint layer without glaze or varnish. Apparently, it is important to wait 3-6 months before varnishing a painting so that the painting has enough oxidizing to prevent damage from the varnish.
